During the Price City Council meeting on Wednesday, Mayor Mike Kourianos praised those working in the local police departments. He wanted to recognize them and “thank them for the safety they bring to the community.”

He noted the date and its significance, known as National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, which took place on Jan. 9. This is a day set aside for people across the nation to recognize local law enforcement and all they do for local communities.

Price City Police work not only to diligently serve and protect members of the community, but also to give back.

On Monday, Feb. 11, the Price City Police Department will host a blood drive for the American Red Cross. Members of the community are encouraged to schedule an appointment to donate on that day at the Price City Hall. Appointments from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. will be accepted.
