During their monthly meeting, in addition to addressing budget adjustments and receiving councilmember reports, the Price City Council swore in two new members, Lindsay Lauridsen and Eric E. Snow, to the library board.
Snow, who teaches English at Carbon High, said he is very excited to take on this new role and help promote reading and a love of literature in Price.
Lauridsen also expressed her excitement for her new position.
“I’ve always had a love for books and reading and I can’t wait to help share that with children and other guests who visit the library,” Lauridsen said.
Mayor Piccolo thanked the new board members and encouraged them to think outside the box and develop new and creative ways to help the continued success of the library’s current story time hour.
The council also took time to honor Castleview Hospital CEO Mark Holyoak on behalf of the Miner’s Memorial Committee for Castleview Hospital’s generous contribution to their cause.
