Davey and the Midnights will be performing at Culture Connection on June 27 at 7 p.m. in our new location, Washington Park.
Davey and the Midnights formed on the westside of Los Angeles, California in 2017. The group immediately set out to establish themselves as one of the hardest working Americana bands in the country. For the next seven years they toured extensively throughout the United States performing at venues including Pappy & Harriet’s (CA), The Lonesome Rose (TX), Woodlands Tavern (OH), Bill Monroe’s Bluegrass Park (IN), Southgate House Revival (KY), Empty Glass (WV), Dee’s Lounge (TN). In the fall of 2023 the band played their first European dates, embarking on a multi-week tour in both France and Germany.
The Midnights have shared the stage with acts such as Arlo McKinley, Dale Watson, Nikki Lane, the Cordovas, Cristina Vane, Chris Pierce, Rob Leines, DeeOhGee, and the Deltaz. Their emotionally charged, high energy performances are not to be missed.
Lead singer, keyboardist, and principal songwriter Davey Allen has also toured as a solo artist and as keyboardist for rock hall of famer Eric Burdon. In addition, he has toured as a member of the San Francisco rock group The Stone Foxes. Davey is an advocate of many social causes and has previously donated a portion of his album sales to the Dolores Huerta Foundation and the Citizen Potawatomi Nation Cultural Center.
