Southeast Utah Health Department News Release

On July 27, beginning at 7:30 a.m. the Southeast Utah Health Department (SEUHD) in conjunction with SERDA, will be hosting their second annual Price City Mayor’s Walk.

The idea to do a mayor’s walk was proposed during the 2022 Price City Healthy Community designation. In order for Price City to be recognized as a Healthy Communities designated city, they were required to come up with a plan of action.

Part of that plan was to come up with an event or activity that provided community members the opportunity to be more active. The mayor’s walk is intended to connect community members to the places they live and encourage them to get out, be active and enjoy key areas in their city.

This year, attendees are encouraged to bring their pets along for the walk. Participants are encouraged to come out and enjoy some breakfast or some coffee from Coyote’s Well.
