The Price City Council started its recent meeting with a discussion on road and driving safety with the conclusion of daylight savings. Councilwoman Amy Jespersen wanted to remind residents to be careful with their lights while driving in the dark.

The main discussion of the meeting was for the re-appointing of the Price City Planning and Zoning Commission members. They all stood together and took their oath for three-year terms. Those being appointed were David Black, Erroll Holt and Jade Powell.

The three members were all approved and sworn into their positions. The city council congratulated each member and expressed their appreciation for the work they’ve done in the past as well as the work they will do in the future.

At the end of the meeting, council member Layne Miller commented that he appreciates the Main Street businesses and eateries. They have brought many people together, especially for Music, Meals and Mingle events. The council agreed that is has done great things for the community.

Miller also made a proposal that next summer, there could be a possibility of combining Culture Connection with the event as well. That proposal will be discussed more in the future.
