Press Release

The subcommittee of Price Community Progress is planning the second annual Price City Old Fashioned Christmas celebration.

With this celebration, the committee is asking all Price City businesses to decorate their windows and store fronts in an “Old Fashioned Christmas” design. The grand prize to the selected business will be a $100 visa card to be used at local merchants. In addition, a traveling trophy will be awarded to the business. Also, their name will be listed on the plaque that is displayed at Price City Hall.

The Price City Old Fashioned Christmas celebration will take place at the Price Peace Gardens on Dec. 7 from 5 to 7 p.m. where the presentation will be made to the winning business at 6 p.m. the evening of the event.

Judging will take place Dec.1-4.

The committee is also looking for vendors during this event. Space is free but limited. Interested vendors should call Kathy Hanna-Smith at (435) 650-3922.

Santa Claus will arrive at 5 p.m. To celebrate this event, we will also have guest appearances of Mr. and Mrs. Snowman, Gingerbread, Reindeer, the Grinch and the Christmas Tree. These special guests will be sharing with all the little children of the area cookies, hot cocoa and a gift bag of goodies. Pictures with Santa Claus will be made available and compliments of Price City.
