Each October, Price City Councilwoman Terry Willis, along with the rest of the Community Progress Committee, gather together and peruse the neighborhoods to locate the cutest, creepiest, most creative or spookiest yards that festive owners have decorated for Halloween.
This year, locals Michael and Audrey Smith, Angela Leonard, Lucille Housekeeper and the Bryner family, especially brothers Nicholas and Brenden, were recognized to have the best Halloween spirit in the city.
Members of the committee stopped by each house on Monday afternoon to visit the winners and present them with a sign that they will be able to proudly display in their well-decorated yards. The next scheduled yard awards will recognize those that have the best Christmas spirit in December.
