Press Release

The Price Kiwanis Club was requested by Santa Claus to help in the gathering of toys for little ones in Castle Country on Sunday. The club met as a group at a local store to shop for two dozen children in the area. Annually, the Price Kiwanis Club partners with the United Way and sponsors Angel Tree participants.

The Price Kiwanis Club is a charity that strives to better the lives of the youth in our community. The club raises money twice per year through its annual radio auction in April and the duck derby at Pleasant Valley Days in July. The money is raised locally and stays local by providing Sub for Santa, scholarships to Utah State University Eastern, purchasing of eyeglasses, helmets and carseats, school contests prizes such as science/history fairs and spelling bees, purchasing of sporting equipment for local sports organizations, organizing and sponsoring the annual Kiwanis Kids’ Day in the Park, and other various activities that enrich the lives of local youth.

Santa Claus has asked the Price Kiwanis Club for another favor: help deliver presents on Christmas Eve. The Price Kiwanis Club will ride along with Santa to deliver all the presents to the two dozen girls and boys in Castle Country they sponsored.

Price Kiwanis wishes everyone a merry Christmas and expresses its appreciation to the community for helping in fundraising over the years. The Price Kiwanis Club couldn’t do any of this without the community’s support!
