Carbon County Sheriff’s Office Press Release
On July 14, Carbon County Sheriff’s Office deputies served a search warrant on a residence located at 1777 S. Hwy 10. Deputy Shawn Addley had obtained enough information in regards to subjects in the residence dealing illicit drugs.
Once the search warrant was signed by a judge, deputies served the warrant at 2:44 p.m. Two subjects were located in the residence and detained. During the search of the residence, approximately 21 grams of heroin and 11.5 grams of methamphetamine were found.
James Martinez, 34, and Vanessa Monroe, 35, both of Price, were arrested and booked into the Carbon County Jail. Both are facing charges of possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute and possession of paraphernalia. Bail for James Martinez has been set at $20,680 and Vanessa Monroe’s bail has been set at $10,680.
