Price Police Make Arrest in Criminal Homicide Case

On Dec. 30, Alejandra “Ally” Dunn, DOB 3-25-87 of Helper was booked into the Carbon County Jail and charged with criminal homicide/murder, a first degree felony and distribution of a controlled substance, a second degree felony.

Dunn’s arrest stems from an investigation into a Salt Lake City man’s death on Aug. 3 in Price. It was determined that the man passed away due to a drug overdose. The investigation spanned over a four month period of time that began because the death was unattended.

Lead investigator, Price City Police Detective Chris Pugliese located forensic evidence allegedly implicating Dunn in the circumstances surrounding the death. A subsequent interview with Dunn occurred and she allegedly confirmed pertinent details of her involvement relating to the investigation, including that she allegedly committed actions fulfilling the elements of the listed charges.

Dunn has a very minor previous criminal history.
