Price City Police Press Release:

On June 19, 2015, an unidentified male suspect stole a number of computer related items from Office Equipment, Etc., in Price, by posing as an employee of Carbon County Housing Authority, and “signing” for the items using a fictitious name. It was determined that the male suspect was not an employee of the Housing Authority.

The crime was reported to Price PD on 7-7-15. Office Equipment, Etc. had video surveillance of the incident, which was posted to Facebook on 7-7-15.

Price PD Officer Brandon Ratcliffe began investing the case, and identified the suspect as Mylo Lamar Michie, DOB 9-21-71, recently of Price.

Officer Ratcliffe arrested Michie and charged him with a third degree felony theft because of prior convictions, and third degree felony forgery. The Carbon County Attorney will screen the report to determine formal charges. (Michie is currently still incarcerated at the Carbon County Jail for a recent aggravated assault arrest.) Michie has 19 previous arrests on his criminal history, dating back to 1990, most for theft related issues.
