Price City is accepting letters of interest from community members residing in the Carbonville area to fill one (1) vacancy on the Price River Water Resources Committee. The purpose of the committee is to evaluate the current and future water needs of all Price River water users. The committee was founded in 2019 and is sponsored by Price City.
Committee members are responsible to attend scheduled meetings, abide by public meeting laws and to advise on water resource matters consistent with the purpose of the committee.
Letters of interest should include a statement of interest in service to the committee, complete individual contact information, and any prior service on public committees or relevant experience in water resource-based issues. Letters must be sent to the attention of the Price City Recorder at P.O. Box 893, Price, UT 84501, clearly marked “Water Resources Committee Letter of Interest”, and received on or before the close of business on Wednesday, November 17, 2021.
