The Price Youth Soccer Association season came to an end Saturday with a series of games and a celebratory jamboree.
The PYSA is a branch of the Utah Youth Soccer Association and is not affiliated with Carbon County Recreation.
This was its first season in Carbon County and coach Tracy Brady considers it a huge success. Over 160 kids registered for this season which allowed for 20 teams to compete against each other.
The program is a great way for kids and coaches to learn the fundamentals of the game. Since it is a branch of the UYSA, its is able to provide training and instruction for coaches.
Brady said she feels this is a huge advantage for the players because it can “allow for a higher level of play.”
Fall registration is currently open for kids ages 5-14. To register go to the PYSA web page www.priceyouthsoccer.com and follow the links.
PYSA is a volunteer organization that can provide a fun and exciting way for children to go back to the basics.
