Seth Allred has been the leader at Mont Harmon Middle School for the past two years. Since taking over as principal, he has made a lasting impression on teachers and students alike.

Allred began his teaching career at East Carbon High School in 1996, teaching biology and chemistry. He also coached volleyball, wrestling and baseball during his time at East Carbon. Allred taught and coached at Mont Harmon for a short time before spending the past 11 years serving as principal at both Sally Mauro Elementary and Wellington Elementary.

Allred returned to Mont Harmon as principal before the 2015-16 school year began. With him, he brought in a new way to look at student behavior, the grading process and changed the culture of our school through the Positive Behavior Intervention Supports program. Mr. Allred is a great principal to work for and drives his employees to become better versions of themselves to benefit our students.

He does everything he can for his students. He looks out for them and tries to get them out to activities, creating a positive learning environment in his school. He realizes that not everyone is the same and works with the student in different ways to help them on the path to success. The students love him and are always working with him to be better students and a better school.

Mont Harmon Middle School is grateful to have Seth Allred as their principal. He truly loves Mont Harmon and has worked extremely hard to make it a better place. He is kind, caring and funny and always helps his students to be successful. Mr. Allred is fully invested in our school and is in it for the success of our students.

Seth is married to his high school sweetheart, Jackie, and has two children, Kaden and Arilyn. He also enjoys working on the farm, horseback riding and is passionate about coaching his daughter’s traveling volleyball and softball teams.
