The project to convert Price City Library’s basement area into a kid-friendly space continues to move forward.

The painting of the walls in the basement has been completed and a bid for new carpeting was recently accepted. Kevin’s Abbey Carpets, based in Price, was awarded the bid and is slated to begin installing the new carpet in two weeks.

Before that time, another large project is slated to begin: the beginning of a mural downstairs. Working with a local artist, painting for the mural will begin on Thursday and hopefully conclude in time for the carpet to be installed afterward.

More information will be provided about the project as details are forthcoming.
