At Thursday’s Helper city council meeting, it was announced that three people had volunteered to be members of the board of health.

The board of health will oversee that all of the public nuisance laws are enforced (ie. Keeping properties clean, no over flow of weeds, etc..) As the city has gotten three out of the four wanted candidates, Mayor Armstrong moved last night to appoint these candidates so they may begin working on building the board, but work will not officially begin until there are four people appointed to the job.To to team up with Helper City Board of Health, call Helper City at 435-472-5391.
