The house located at 390 North 100 East in Price has experienced its fair share of drug related incidents and violence, including but not limited to many encounters with repeat offender Thomas Sanchez.
The resident of the home next to this site, Clark Killian, took the opportunity while the house was vacated to purchase it. Killian then made the decision to have the house torn down in hopes of improvements to be made on the lot.
As a special service project for the organization, Waste and Water Logistics agreed to the demolition. A machine used for the tear down, as well as a water truck to help control the dust coming from the home, was brought to the location on Tuesday morning.
Face masks were given to the two young men in charge of hosing down the property as it was in the process of being demolished to eliminate the chance of debris and any other stray elements harming them. Killian, as well as his family, were present for the tear down of the property.
The house was safely demolished and the wreckage will be cleared away to make room for something better to be brought to the property in the future.
