The Board of Emery County Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. during the Regularly Scheduled Emery County Commission Meeting, in the Commission Chambers located at 75 E Main Street, Castle Dale, Utah, in order to take public comment regarding the creation and approval of an Ordinance Establishing Certain Rules and Regulations for Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations within the Unincorporated Areas of
Emery County, Utah in Compliance with SB. 130 Regulation of Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations. A copy of the proposed CAFO Ordinance and area map are available on the Emery County website, as well as in the Clerk/Auditor’s Office during regular business hours.
