Helper City Mayor Lenise Peterman reported on Wednesday morning that a raccoon had damaged a power line within the city, resulting in a power outage. The outage is affecting homes around North Martin and the Frontage Road area.
According to the mayor, the city is working in conjunction with Rocky Mountain Power to restore power. At approximately 8:45 a.m., it was expected the power should be restored within 20 minutes.
