Raptors Drop Road Tilt at Westlake


Playing on the road before three straight home games, the Price American Legion Raptors were handed a 12-2 defeat Wednesday afternoon at Westlake.

Price had three hits in the game, two off the bat of Stetson Motte. Michael Tallerico had the other hit in the game, a single in the second inning. Motte and Tylane Sherman scored the runs for Price, both of them coming in the first inning to give their team a 2-0 lead.

The game sat at 5-2 until the sixth when Westlake plated seven runs to end the game an inning early.

Jaxson Carlisle took the loss on the mound.

Price will host St. George on Friday night at 5 at USU Eastern’s Colosimo Field. Skyridge is next up on Saturday at 1 p.m., with Skyline coming to Price at 4 p.m.
