The Price American Legion Raptors traveled to Roosevelt on Wednesday to conclude the regular season. Having already clinched its first-ever playoff spot in Monday’s state American Legion Tournament, Price nevertheless came home with a 3-1 victory.

Trevor Pummell got the win on the mound and did it at the plate, too. Not only did he allow just one run on the rubber, he also had a two-RBI triple in the fifth inning, giving the Raptors the 2-0 lead they would never relinquish. Roosevelt answered in the bottom of the inning with a single run, but it would get no closer. Price added another run in the top of the seventh on a double by Remington Motte that scored Krey Keele who walked right before.

Duncan LaCombe, Drew Jones, Harley Barker and Keele all added singles in the game.

Price, who is the third seed out of the South Region, will play on Monday at 8 a.m. against Ridgeline, the second seed out of the North.
