Emery County Travel Bureau Press Release
The Emery County Travel Bureau Travel Bureau is currently collaborating with Public Land Solutions, a non-profit recreation consultant, to complete a county-wide recreation audit and develop recreation infrastructure proposals and improvements. Do you have a moment to contribute your input to this project?
We have set up a series of meetings and are hoping you can join us for all those that are of interest to you. The goal of each meeting is to:
- Verify and complete the recreation audit of existing recreation features and infrastructure
- Propose new and improved recreation features and infrastructure
All meetings will be held via Zoom with invites found in the links below. Activities are grouped to increase meeting focus and efficiency. You are welcome and encouraged to participate in more than one meeting. Meetings will be one hour in duration. Your feedback is requested at the following dates/times:
January 25, 2021 (Monday)
4 p.m. – Hunting/Fishing/Flatwater Boating
January 26, 2021 (Tuesday)
1 p.m. – Climbing (Bouldering, Roped, Ice)
4 p.m. – Canyoneering/Rafting
January 27, 2021 (Wednesday)
1 p.m. – Non-Motorized Trails (Focus on Hiking and Equestrian)
4 p.m. – Non-Motorized Trails (Focus on Mountain Biking and Bikepacking)
January 28, 2021 (Thursday)
1 p.m. – Motorized Trails/Roads
4 p.m. – Motorized Trails/Roads
January 29, 2021 (Friday)
1 p.m. – Camping (Developed and Dispersed)
4 p.m. – All Other Activities (i.e. Snow Sports, Cultural Sites, Backcountry Pilots, etc)
