During the Price City Council meeting, hosted at its regularly-scheduled time on Wednesday evening, Ryan Smith came before the council to present his recycling program. This is a newly-founded program called Recyclops that functions in seven places in Utah as well as two locations in Idaho.

Smith stated that he wishes to get information to more people pertaining to his business to increase recycling in the area. According to Smith, two percent of homes in Price are already using Recyclops and three percent of homes in Helper take part in the program.

Smith is hoping to get more people involved. This program can be used for residential and business purposes. Smith explained that it is $10 monthly and there’s no need to sort your recyclables, as Recyclops does that for you. Recyclops accepts paper, plastic, cardboard and metal.
