For the past few weeks, efforts going towards the repainting of the Carbon High “C” on Wood Hill have moved forward. At the Price City Council meeting on Wednesday evening, the Price City Council approved access to the “C”.
Leif Nelson approached the council on Wednesday to request access and approval to repaint the famous Carbon “C”. He reported that a man lift and paint have been donated, as well as $1,500 has been received for the project. “This project will be no cost to the city,” explained Nelson. “Price is not a place of days gone by anymore. It’s a very exciting project and many individuals are exhilarated to see the completion of the project!”
The official repainting date has been slated for June 30th at 8 a.m. A group of volunteers has been committed to repaint the “C”, as well as cleaning up graffiti at the bottom of the hill. Donations are still being accepted for the project and can be made at the project’s GoFundMe page.
