Christopher Herrod, the Republican candidate for the special election to represent Utah’s 3rd Congressional District, will speak in Emery County on Thursday, June 29.
The special election comes from the the vacancy being left by Representative Jason Chaffetz. Herrod advanced to the Republican primary after winning the party’s convention on June 17, where he defeated 11 other Republicans.
The speech by Herrod will take place in Castle Dale at the Old Courthouse on Thursday evening. The event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
