REQUEST FOR BIDS

Carbon County requests bids from licensed contractors for remodeling work inside the Carbon County Airport at 3095 Airport Rd, Price, Utah 84501 to accommodate a new tenant inside a portion of the building. Work must be substantially completed prior to July 1, 2019.

Complete plans for the remodel are located at www.carbon.utah.gov/rfp. Contractors must be able to complete or subcontract out all portions of the work, and bids must include costs to complete the entire project.

Sealed bids must be received prior to 5:00 p.m. on April 19, 2019 in the office of the Carbon County Clerk at 751 East 100 North, Price, UT  84501.

Bids for services should be submitted in a sealed enveloped marked “Carbon County Airport Remodel Project”

Bids will be opened on April 22, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., in the Carbon County Administration Building located at 751 East 100 North, Price, Utah on the second floor in the Commission Chambers.

Contractors will be required to obtain performance and payment bonds in the amount of the contract pursuant to U.C.A. 63G-6a-1103.

Carbon County reserves the right to select the person or entity that in its opinion is best able to provide the best services for a reasonable price, based on the County’s review of the firm’s experience and qualifications. County reserves the right to negotiate contract terms with the bidder to whom it desires to award the contract, and to choose another service provider if terms cannot be agreed upon.
