Carbon County requests bids from licensed contractors for the ongoing maintenance of the Carbon County motocross track located at the Carbon County Fairgrounds. The scope of work consists of grooming the track twice a week, approximately six hours each time, to ensure the track is ready for practices and professional competitions beginning in April through the end of October.
Contractors interested in bidding must indicate that they will supply their own equipment and must list the equipment that they will use to perform the grooming. Contractors should indicate their experience in caring for motocross or other dirt tracks and their general experience operating heavy machinery. Contractors may indicate an hourly price for work or may submit a total price for the work through the end of the season.
Sealed bids must be received prior to 5:00 p.m. on May 3, 2022 in the office of the Carbon County Clerk at 751 East 100 North, Price, UT 84501. Bids will be opened on May 4, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. during the regularly scheduled meeting of the Carbon County Board of Commissioners in the commission chambers on the second floor at 751 East 100 North, Price, Utah. Faxed bids will not be considered. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
