The parcel contains a quonset hut, a garage with several bays, and a small office building with a vehicle bay, all of which were previously used by the County’s weed and mosquito abatement department. The parcel is accessed off of Highway 10 and is near Carbon County’s old Search and Rescue Building.
Carbon County will lease the parcel to the highest bidder. Bids should contain the name, address, phone number and email of the bidder, along with the rental price that the bidder is willing to pay. The property will be leased “as is”. The County disclaims any warranty that the property is suitable for any particular purpose. Carbon County reserves the right to reject any and all offers for the lease of the property, and to waive any informality of any bid submitted. If the proposed lease amounts are inadequate, as determined by the County Board of Commissioners, the County may cancel the bids or may negotiate with the high bidder for a different amount. Faxed proposals will not be accepted. Additional questions about the property should be addressed to the Carbon County Board of Commissioners at (435) 636-3226.
