Ken Grant, owner of Grant Automotive, gathered with members of the Emery County Business Chamber on Saturday for a ribbon cutting ceremony at his new shop in Castle Dale.
Cynthia and JJ Grant of Orangeville are Ken’s parents. He grew up in Orangeville and attended Emery High. Now, he is married with four children and one on the way. Their children are Austin age 12, Mia age 10, Billy age 9 and Olivia age 7.
Ken started off in a Ford asset program, then worked for a Ford dealership for 8 years before he opened his first shop in Grantsville in 2004. Ken is ASE master certified and Ford dealer certified.
Grant Automotive is open Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. They take checks, cash and credit cards to pay for bumper to bumpers, body work, alignments, oil changes, tune ups, tire changes, safety inspections, diesel engines and minor details as well as work on engines and transmissions.
