A celebration of Hair Hut’s new location in Price was hosted on Tuesday. Members of the community along with the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce gathered as the ribbon was cut for the new establishment.
Owned by Shellie Johnson, Hair Hut operates with five stylists, two nail technicians and an eyelash extension specialist. Other services offered at the salon include tanning, waxing services and much more. For the month of October, Hair Hut is also participating in the Salons for Survival Program.
“Hair Hut is happy to announce their participation in the fifth annual Salons for Survival breast cancer fundraiser,” the business shared on Facebook. “During the month of October, we will be having a raffle to raise money to help prevent and fight breast cancer in our community, $1 a ticket or $5 for 6 tickets. Plus, 20% of each person’s sales on Tuesdays will be donated as well. All money raised will be given to the United Way of Eastern Utah, making sure everything raised stays in our community to help benefit our clients the most.”
