The ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Carbon County Administrative building was hosted on Wednesday at 4 p.m. Many community members and employees of Carbon County gathered in front of the building for the ceremony.
After everyone was welcomed, the Carbon High School choir sang the national anthem while Price American Legion Post #3 raised the flag. The LDS Stake President of Price offered an invocation.
Little Miss Carbon County Blayr Bennet had the honors of cutting the ribbon. Miss Carbon County and Miss Outstanding Teen were also present at the ceremony.
Once the ribbon was cut, the building doors were opened to the public to tour the inside. Those in attendance were able to view photographs and paintings that were created by local artists as well as a memorial wall inside the building that displays names of service men and women from Carbon County.
