The annual International Days celebration is a staple for Castle Country residents and a way for all to enjoy the end of summer each year.
This weekend-long event kicked off on Thursday evening with a free swim day at the Desert Wave Pool, a special Culture Connection performance and a firework show to conclude the evening. The following morning, attendees could enjoy a kids’ parade as well as vendors, live entertainment, rides and food at Washington Park. A burn-out contest also took place on Price’s Main Street.
Saturday morning kicked off with a Lion’s Club chuck wagon breakfast in the park and a 5K. A grand parade then began at 10 a.m. with a car show at Pioneer Park directly following. The same vendors, rides and food were still available for enjoyment throughout the day.
Each evening at Pioneer Park, a movie was played for those that stuck around to enjoy. Sponsors for the festivities include Zions Bank, Sutherlands, Emery Telcom, Tony Basso GM and more.
