A riot broke out in the middle of Price Main Street Friday afternoon for the filming of a music video in honor of the men and women in uniform. Included were police officers, military, firefighters, first responders and those whole lost their life in the line of duty.
Former Castle Country resident Ryan Andrew Stream has served his country twice while being deployed in Afghanistan. Stream currently serves in the National Guard and is working for Materion Natural Resources as well as composing his own music.
Stream decided to compose a music video in the Castle County area. The music video represents the hardship of what men and women in uniform face daily. Price City and Emery County partnered with the musician to supply the emergency response vehicles and personnel in the video. Wellington City Fire Department and Utah Highway Patrol also played a part.
Price City’s Main Street was closed at 3 p.m. due to the filming of the video. Residents were welcome to be a part of the music video and participated in a mock riot as well as helped carry a 1,800 square foot flag courtesy of Follow the Flag.
The Veterans of Foreign War and several members from the 624th engineer company hosted a mock funeral service at the Price City Cemetery later that evening. The funeral service was meant to represent a real service for a first responder or military personnel who was killed in the line of duty.
