The Emery County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) made an announcement on Monday evening regarding power in Ferron and Clawson.
Rocky Mountain Power gave notice of an emergency power outage in those areas which is estimated from 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21 to Thursday morning around 6 a.m. It was explained that the outage is necessary for replacing or repairing equipment.
Rocky Mountain Power also stated in the notice given that sensitive electronics should be unplugged prior to the outage. The ECSO remarked that, at this time, that is all of the information they have regarding the outage and are requesting that calls not be made to the dispatch center as updates will be given when information is received.
