As the end of the 2017 year inches closer, the November employee of the month was announced by Rose Barnes during the regularly scheduled Carbon County Commission meeting that took place on the first day of the month.
This title was awarded to local resident Rose Malano. Along with Barnes, Julie Medley presented this award and spoke briefly on why Malano deserves the recognition. Medley stated that Malano had just recently received her designation to become a personal property auditor, which is the first since Medley’s time in office.
During the schooling that she took to become designated, Malano received the highest scores in her class. Medley believed that she should be recognized for that by earning the employee recognition. She stated that Malano has been an asset with her work ethic and her professionalism.
