The second annual Greek Festival 5K began bright and early on Saturday morning. The sixty one participants began the race on 100 South near the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church. Racers returned to the church to cross the finish line.

The race was a loop and racers started on 100 South before crossing over to Main Street and eventually returning to the church. Drew Jones and Rodney Ewell battled the entire way for a first place finish, with Jones eventually coming in .02 seconds ahead of Ewell to clinch a first place finish with a time of 20:08.
