USU Eastern hosted Ryan Shupe and the Rubber Band at the Geary Event Center during the university’s spirit week on Oct. 25.
The students attending USU Eastern were invited to come as well as members of the community. They played many songs, including requests from the crowd. The band also mashed some songs together to create funny, well-known remixes.
Ryan Shupe and the Rubber Band invited singers from the community to sing with them on stage. They had all practiced together prior to the evening of the concert and performed for the audience that night. When the band ran off stage, the audience all stood and cheered for an encore. The band then returned to the stage and played their best known song, “Dream Big.”
