On Tuesday, Sally Mauro Elementary participated in the McTeacher Night program at McDonalds between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.
Store owners John and Amber Hopkins donated 50% of all counter sales during the two-hour period to the school. According to McDonalds management, Sally Mauro earned $870.66 by the end of the event.
The Hopkins sponsors similar events to show their support for the local community throughout the year.
