Early on Saturday morning, students, teachers and community members gathered together on the trail that starts in Spring Canyon to run or walk in a 5K that is meant to raise money for the school’s PTA.
The night before the 5K, the tally of total people participating was up to about 67. However, the morning of the 5K, even more people showed up wanting to run or walk and help raise funds. Shirts were given out to participants with the Sally Mauro logo on them.
