San Rafael Jr. High celebrated its ninth grade class with a closing program Friday.
The theme of this year’s program was “Hall of Fame” which represents each student’s potential to become great.
Seven honor students were chosen to speak at the ceremony. Jason Roberts, Jessica Olsen, Devin Willson, Camrey Johnson, Landon Barnett, Kannon Toomer, and Braydon Roberts were chosen based on their high academic merit. These students maintained a 4.0 GPA all three years at SRJH. Their topics included the impact of positive attitude, setting and achieving goals, and being the best you.
Principal Doug Mecham concluded the program advising students, teachers, and parents to not give up in the pursuit of their goals.
Mecham said, “learning is an eternal progression,” and urged students to strive for greatness.
