Students of San Rafael Junior High participated in their very own Dutch oven cook-off on Tuesday morning. Students cooked their own Dutch oven meals and were judged based on a number of criteria.
In first place for the main dish category was Braxton Young and Brett Olsen. Second place went to Tyler Stilson and third place was awarded to Abby Snow and Ryleigh Morgan.
In the dessert category, first place was given to Kelsey and Faryn Hulse. Second place was awarded to Jessie Nicholson while third place went to Brynne Urie and Kiri Cook.
For the judge’s choice awards, the following students were chosen: James Clark, Maggie Christensen, Natalie Chynoweth, Abby Willson, Jacob Behling, Micah Bennion, Kellsey Winn, Kiralyn Olsen, Morgan Hughes, MaKenna Bennett, Logan Garrett, Daeden Behling Jarin Allen, Devin Guymon, Dax Sorensen, Jaxton Madsen, Brynne Urie, Kiri Cook, Trandon Jackson and Kelton Gordon.
