Students at San Rafael Junior High in Ferron paid tribute to veterans Tuesday morning. During the school-wide assembly, the school’s band and choir performed and a brief history about America’s service members was presented.
The assembly focused on the importance of remembering and respecting the sacrifices that military personnel have made in the past and the service they provide now and will provide in the future. Local veterans were in attendance at the assembly and were thanked for their service by numerous students as they exited the gym.
