A large number of Castle Country’s youth gathered at Wellington City Hall on Monday evening for a special reason: Santa Claus was paying a visit.
Promptly at 5:30 p.m., Santa rode in on a fire truck and welcomed all those that wished to visit him. One by one, youngsters of varying ages sat on Santa’s lap and regaled him with information as to what they desired to find under their tree on Christmas morning.
Once they had finished with their visit, the children were gifted with goodie bags that included oranges, cards for Santa, minuscule Christmas trees to decorate and more.
