Scatter Sunshine With Rocky Mountain Care

We have all heard the saying “sunshine is the best medicine. At Rocky Mountain Care, employees are taking that antidote to heart. As they go visit people in their homes and care facilities, they often see people who need a little sunshine to brighten their day. Being kind is such an easy thing to do; how can we #scattersunshine throughout our community?

There are already a few projects underway. The Studio was the first business to come on board and donate cheerful artwork to brighten the rooms and hallways of Parkdale Health and Rehab.

Rocky Mountain’s goal is to have acts of kindness occur all throughout the Carbon and Emery area and to see how the effects of these acts can makes someone’s day better. Join in on the fun by doing something kind for someone get a picture and use #scattersunshine #rockymountaincares on social media.

There are so many ways to show kindness. Here are some examples:

  • Hold the door for someone
  • Help a friend or neighbor with yard work
  • Stop at a kid’s lemonade stand
  • Pick up trash on the side of the road
  • Compliment a stranger
  • Put carts away at the grocery store
  • Help an elderly person put groceries in their car
  • Take/bring in a garbage can for someone
  • Give a better than usual tip at restaurant
  • Pay for someone’s drink anonymously
  • Leave a thank you note for a co-worker
