On March 16, Green River High hosted a junior high science fair. Many of the students worked tirelessly on their projects in the hopes that they would not only learn more on the subject but also be deemed the winner.

In first place, the project hot ice was awarded to Angel Cordingley and Rilee Alvarado. Second place went to students Celica Mendoza and Talynn Lovato for their oil, water and Alka Seltzer project. Jocelyn Brady and Lillian Giles were awarded third place with their egg and vinegar project.
