Scofield Town Councilman Scott Holman issued a release stating the town’s fourth of JulyВ celebration, Pleasant Valley Days, has been postponed due to the evacuation order issued yesterday.
In an excerpt from an email issued to homeowners, Holman stated the following:
“We are postponing Pleasant Valley Days until next week, July 6-7. В We’ll watch the fire and see how it goes for the next day or two but for now that is our plan. В Obviously some people won’t be able to make it and we’re sorry for that but we hope that you all will be able to come.”
