It was night of mayhem at the Carbon County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Demolition Derby on Saturday.
Over fifteen cars and two trucks were there to smash and crash until only one was left standing.
Contestants competed in three heats with heat winners moving on to the finals.В The losing drivers were able to enter the grudge match, which provided one last shot at making the finals.
The big event of the night was the raffle of the Search and Rescue derby truck.
Kyle Acey won the truck and was lucky enough to have a chance at the $1000 prize in the truck derby. Acey went on to win the event.
Seventy-five prizes from local businesses were raffled off to spectators during the event.
