Early Tuesday morning, an accident occurred on Highway 10 when a semi, traveling northbound, drove off of the east side of the road. According to Utah Highway Patrol, the driver was drowsy and fell asleep at the wheel, resulting in the accident. No other driver impairment was suspected.
The accident caused the semi to lose its hood and was temporarily stuck over a ravine. The accident did not affect traffic flow and no injuries were reported as a result.
