Early on Tuesday morning, around 6:30 a.m., first responders was dispatched to an accident that had occurred on Highway 6 near milepost 221, five miles east of the Scofield junction. It was reported that a semi and passenger vehicle were involved in the accident.
Not long after authorities initially responded to the incident, a wrecker was requested to respond to the site for the semi, which was partially off the road.
According to the Utah Department of Transportation, impact to traffic is low with delays of less than five minutes. As of 7:30 a.m., authorities reported an estimated clearance time of 9 a.m.
