RUCD Head Start’s Executive Director Keri Allred had the opportunity to meet with Senator Mitt Romney and other Utah Head Start directors in Washington DC on Jan. 30 to discuss the role of quality early childhood education in Utah.
Senator Romney highlighted the visit on his Twitter page saying, “I firmly believe we must expand parental choice and create more opportunities in education. Met with representatives of Utah’s Head Start to learn more about their work to ensure Utah’s children & families have early access to the support needed to thrive and be self-sufficient.”
